Contemporary figurative painting concerned with memory, stillness and the quiet theatre of the everyday.

Vivienne Marsh is a contemporary figurative painter working in oil. Her recent work examines the psychology of the sitter — portraits held at the moment just before speech, where posture and costume carry as much of the story as the face. She has shown in group and solo exhibitions across Australia and Europe, and her paintings are held in private collections internationally.
